Kali

Kali is one of the most powerful Hindu goddesses, often associated with destruction and transformation. She embodies both the end of a cycle and the beginning of renewal.

Kali is a major deity in Hindu mythology, often depicted with a fierce and destructive appearance. She is worshipped as an incarnation of the destructive power of Shakti, the divine feminine energy. According to legend, she was born from the anger of Durga during a battle against demons. In a fit of uncontrollable rage, Kali relentlessly destroys the forces of evil. She is typically portrayed with black or blue skin, holding weapons, and wearing a necklace of severed heads. Despite her terrifying appearance, she is also a symbol of protection and renewal, destroying negative forces to allow for spiritual growth. Kali is often considered the wife of Shiva, and in some traditions, she is also the mother of Ganesha and Kartikeya.
