| Vishwakarma | Vishwakarma is the Hindu god of artisans, architects, and engineers. Known as the divine creator, he is worshipped by builders and craftsmen in India for his expertise and ingenuity. Vishwakarma is a major deity in Hindu tradition, associated with creation, craftsmanship, and engineering. Often referred to as the "divine architect," he is credited with building the celestial palaces of the gods and their divine weapons. He is also said to have created mythical cities and the machines used by the gods. Vishwakarma is frequently depicted with multiple arms, holding tools like hammers, chisels, and measuring instruments, symbolizing his technical expertise. According to legend, Vishwakarma is the son of Brahma, the creator god of the universe, and Vastu, the goddess of architecture. His children include Nala, who was the architect of the famous bridge built for the god Rama in the epic Ramayana. Vishwakarma is especially revered by artisans, blacksmiths, sculptors, and architects in India.
