In the vicinity of Aurangabad in the Indian state of Maharashtra, a mausoleum that closely resembles the Taj Mahal, without however equaling its splendor.

This is not the Taj Mahal, although the resemblance is undeniable. Sometimes called Mini Taj-Mahal or Taj Mahal of the poor, Bibi Ka Maqbara is a mausoleum built around 1668 by Azam Shah, son of Aurangzeb in memory of his mother Rabia-ud-Daurani.

Bibi Ka Maqbara means "Tomb of the Lady".

about the place, Bibi Ka Maqbara:

The Bibi Ka Maqbara (meaning Tomb of the Lady) is located near the city of Aurangabad in the Indian state of Maharashstra. The tomb was built in 1660 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in honor of his favorite wife Dilras Banu Begum. The resemblance to the Taj Mahal is not fortuitous, the latter having been built to house the body of Mumtaz Mahal, mother of Aurangzeb.
