Third part of our trip to Rajasthan in November 2015.

About the 3 places in this film

Jodhpur: Known as the "Blue City" for its blue-painted houses, Jodhpur is located on the edge of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. Founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, Jodhpur is famous for its majestic Mehrangarh Fort, which towers over the city. The city is a true blend of Mughal and Rajput history, offering grand palaces, temples, and a vibrant cultural heritage.

Ramdevra: Located near Pokhran in Rajasthan, Ramdevra is an important pilgrimage site dedicated to Baba Ramdevji, a revered folk saint honored by all communities. Pilgrims from across India visit to pay their respects, drawn by the devotion and miracles associated with the saint.

Jaisalmer: Nicknamed the "Golden City" because of the golden hue of its sandstone buildings, Jaisalmer lies in the heart of the Thar Desert. Founded by Maharawal Jaisal Singh in 1156, the city is famed for its stunning fort that houses palaces, temples, and residences. Jaisalmer is also a gateway for desert safaris and is known for its nomadic culture and festivals.
