Bikaner: Nestled in the northern part of Rajasthan, Bikaner is known for its majestic Junagarh Fort, Rajput architecture, and local delicacies like bhujias. Founded in 1488 by Rao Bika, it retains a rich cultural tradition with its palaces and temples.

 

Deshnoke: Famous for the Karni Mata Temple, Deshnoke draws visitors with its unique worship of sacred rats. This small village near Bikaner is an important pilgrimage site where rats are revered and protected.

 

Mandawa: Known for its painted havelis and elaborate frescoes, this town in Shekhawati showcases the wealth of the region's merchants. Mandawa offers a glimpse into the art and architecture of the Rajput era.

 

Khichan: This village is celebrated for annually hosting thousands of migrating Demoiselle cranes. The local community's commitment to protecting these birds has become an outstanding example of wildlife conservation in India.

 

Sam Desert: Located near Jaisalmer, the Sam Desert is a prime destination for sand dune enthusiasts and camel safaris. It's a popular spot to experience the desert and witness spectacular sunsets.
