Concert by Sakili

Rodrigues is a small island in the Indian Ocean belonging to Mauritius. Being further from the main tourist routes, Rodrigues has managed to keep a more "authentic" musical tradition and the instruments used are more traditional than for most of the current Mauritian sega groups.

Sakili is another group created by Percy Yp Tong (Cyper Produktion) and once again the concert in Brussels in June 2019 was organized jointly with MuziekPublique.

The Sakili trio is composed of Vallen Pierre Louis (banjo), Francis Prosper (drum and voice) and Ricardo Legentile on the accordion.
